Members of the panel

The HRRP is composed of three international members with demonstrated expertise in human rights law. One is a EULEX KOSOVO judge who is familiar with the mission and facilitates a permanent presence in Kosovo.
The EULEX judge has an appointed substitute in case a conflict of interest should arise. The other two HRRP members were selected through a special call for contributions in late November 2009.

The HRRP will convene regularly and will exercise its functions at its own premises easily accessible to complainants and where complaints can be readily filed. It has a dedicated secretarial support staff under the functional authority of the HRRP as well as adequate resources to perform its duties.
